Novak Djokovic has won 20 Grand Slam titles, but that’s not enough to make him a favorite at Wimbledon right now, according to IBM’s Watson computer.
ESPN showed a graphic showing Watson’s “match insights,” which is an “AI-generated preview of each singles match.”
In a way, the computer has Nick Kyrgios, who played his first Major singles final match as Djokovic’s little favorite, who has won Wimbledon six times and is the main seed in the tournament.
This is a bold prophecy for sure.
Djokovic was the three -time defending champion at Wimbledon, but Kyrgios was ahead in the first set.
Maybe Watson knows something we don’t know? Once again, Djokovic dropped his first set to Cameron Norrie in the semifinals on Friday only to win three consecutive sets to advance to the final.
